Shauna Martin returns to GENBAND as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Martin possesses more than 12 years experience handling legal matters for both public and private companies in the high tech industry. As a previous member of GENBAND’s executive team, Martin managed the company’s legal, corporate governance and risk management matters for several years. Martin closed multiple funding rounds on behalf of GENBAND and provided legal counsel for all past corporate acquisitions. Prior to returning to GENBAND, Martin was a partner with the firm LANCASTER, HELLING, MARTIN & GRABLE, L.L.P. in Austin, where her practice focused on providing quality legal advise to high tech companies, including negotiating highly sophisticated international reseller agreements, managing private securities offerings and debt restructuring, and overseeing the corporate governance matters for these companies. Martin’s past experience also includes serving as General Counsel for HOTELS.COM and for TRISTAR AEROSPACE Co. Martin began her career as an associate at Husch and Eppenberger, practicing commercial litigation representing banks and other business clients.

Martin received a B.A. from the University of Central Arkansas and her J.D. from the University of Arkansas. In addition, she received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Named a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly magazine in 2004, Martin is admitted to practice law in Texas and Arkansas and is a member of the Texas and Austin Bar Associations. She is a founding member and President-Elect of the Association of Women in Technology in Austin.
